What will happen if they reported him for driving "fast"?

A neighbour spoke to my mum as she knows her from the infant school and she said she heard someone was talking about reporting my partner for drivin fast and stupid around the estate. The thing is we dont iwn a car we just borrow my step dads van once in a while. He doesnt even drive bad i mean why would he, there are kids all around the estate and we only ever drive around the back where there are no footpaths etc just the road and parking spaces, if they were that worried why dont they open there front door and let them out that way as that is where the kids play. My question is, what is the worste that could happen? If they do stupidly report him for no reason?
