Can a teen driver in illinois talk while driving a car with hands free device?

soo my parents bought a new chevy cruze, it has thedeal where my phone will sync up to the car. and it has buttons built onto the steering wheel that i can answer the calls with while drivin and havin to move my hand. my parents wanna make sure that its legal for me to answer calls from them while driving if im using this? is it legal?
